AI Highlights
  • Dan in guest service was unprofessional.
  • He refused a pass and ignored my disabilities as a disabled veteran.
  • My kids were shaken; the day was ruined.
Disneys Animal Kingdom - Disabled Veteran

Dan in guest service was extremely unprofessional and condescending. He had no concern for my disabilities and refused to give me a pass.

I serve 25 years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps and I am a disabled combat veteran. I do not have the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time nor sit for prolonged periods of time. He over talked me, was completely oblivious to my two young kids standing right next to me who were terribly shaken. They were shaking so much that they wanted to leave the park.

I have never been so disrespected in my life.

Ruined the entire day. The person that was in the photo directly after me was treated with a completely different attitude.

Loss:
$800

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution

User's recommendation: Avoid Guest Services and Dan

You never explained what you were asking for. I don’t understand the problem.

You do have to pay for the pass. How is there an $800 loss?

What did you pay $800 for and not receive? And leave your disability out of it.

I'll take you're leaving something out for $100.00 Alex. People who pad their complaints with useless facts, "combat veteran" often times leave out their poor and entitled antics.

You posted that irrelevant factoid hoping to gain undeserved sympathy. How sad.....

My feet were too big get off the ride?

AI Highlights
  • Traveled 2.5 hours for a field trip and waited 120 minutes for a ride.
  • I was denied due to feet size (men’s 12.5–13); no management comments.

After traveling over 2.5 hours on a field trip with Binks Forest Elementary School on 5/24/18, all excited to finally enjoy time with my daughter, the very first ride after waiting 120 minutes to be told they couldn’t latch the leg lock because my feet were too big is outrageous. I’m a men’s size 12.5 at worst case a 13, and I get ejected?

Wtf? With no additional comments from management or an advisor? Oh no. You can expect me to plaster every blog, every review, any reporter I see, and news station or newspaper will hear of this.

How the *** can a “family friendly theme park for decades not know to build these things with appropriate safety guards for normal size feet or even larger, even plus size people to a point. I mean come on. Absolutely obscured and I’m greatly disappointed in Disney and this park.

Will be the last time I’m here and I have more kids. You need to do a heck of a lot to win me back....

You're kidding, right? If you can't fit, you can't ride....period.

This is not new or exclusive to Disney World. And if you are talking about Flight of Passage, there is a test seat and literally ten seconds of research online would have told you to check first because of the size restraints.

Disneys Animal Kingdom - Customer Care Review

AI Highlights
  • An Animal Kingdom employee ransacked a guest's bag, exposing money and passport.
  • The guest felt violated and won't return; the experience is ruined.

Absolutely disgusted with an employee at animal kingdom. He ransacked my bag, pulled all my personal belongings out including my money and passport documents- i felt violated.

I did not receive such bad inspections at any of the other parks. I would like to know why the *** these employers are allowed to handle personal items so carelessly, its completely over the top.

Ive spent ALOT of money coming here on holiday over the last six years- i wont be back. The experience is ruined.

Pulling out the personal belongings is part of the security process. If they didn't do this at the other parks, then I'm extremely surprised.

It's always been a part of it for me. Safety is far too important to be worried about a little inconvenience.

Discriminated against disney customers for no reason, rude, abusive hostile

AI Highlights
  • Sharin was rude and vague about parade start; Jacob harassed us, forcing moves behind a pole and later a large party stood there.

me and a friend were at disneys animal kingdom this weekend. We were walking by a parade and I stopped to ask an indian girl named "sharin" a question about the parade. she was very rude and condescending towards us...she didn't answer the question well and I said....when does the parade start...she said "there"...I said when does it start? she didn't answer the question...then she rudely hinted that it was starting rather than just saying ok 4 pm...she gave me a bad attitude and was very arrogant and rude.

I think her name was sharin but she was indian, had a heavy accent and a very bad attitude. usually employees at Disney are pretty nice but not her. Then, me and my friend were waiting for the parade and a fat white male named Jacob decided he would begin harassing and bullying us. He yelled at us telling us we needed to "MOVE BEHIND THIS POLE" area....we then moved. then fat dumb ugly Jacob proceeded to harass us more saying "YOU NEED TO BE BEHIND THE POLE ON THE OTHER SIDE." we said...we are? and we were. then *** Jacob kept making us move for NO reason at all--basically, this fat ugly ape just wanted to continue to bother and harass us and make watching the parade as uncomfortable as possible. then fat dumb Jacob the retard made us move AGAIN. just to harass us. about 5 minutes later there was a LARGE party of 10 people standing EXACTLY WHERE JACOB the fat ugly pig told us to move from. Now Jacob the fat lard *** at Disney, decided to make us move about 3 times for NO reason then let a large party come stand there and said nothing to them.

I was upset and went up to Jacob the fat ape and said...where you made us MOVE from there are about TEN people standing there?? ugly dumb idiotic Jacob just stood there and barely said anything about it-- no apologies nothing. What is the world coming to these days...sick rude people who enjoy abusing others for no reason...Disney cast members who abuse customers for no reason?? shame on these worthless animal Jacob for doing this to Disney guests for no reason....because this fat loser works at DISNEY he thinks he has the PLACE to force people to move for NO reason??? this fat ape needs to be reprimanded for this...now Jacob the pig works at Disneys animal kingdom....he is fat *** and seems really young. his co worker sharin is indian and *** too...she is a rude bltch who is smug and rude towards Disney guests too....I hope someone reports these two losers for abusing Disney guests just because they work there and these idiots think they can get away with it....Jacob is a troll too...and shouldn't be working there and has no class or manners...
